Let us get to know you please, Who is Dj Luminous? 

My name is Owadasa Gbolahan. Am the last born in a family of four children. I hail fom Akure in Ondo state and am a graduate of History& International Studies from University of Ado Ekiti now (EKSU)

Give us a brief background about yourself and why you call yourself Dj Luminous? 

I started music at my early age ever before I became a dj so Luminous was my stage name as an artiste I just added dj when I became a dj. My friends gave me the name Luminous because they believe I could make things happen,they said my contributions were like giving light to most difficult situation especially when it come to entertainment so they gave me luminous meaning emitting light, glowing or brightly.

So When did you begin to have the ambition to take this DJ as a career? 

Started having interest in disc jockeying since I entered the University. I loved it I knew I could do it and I went for it but I started professionally in 200Level it's more than a decade now.

How did your parents & family feel about your decision to go into Entertainment? 

Despite the fact that I was the only one into entertainment in my family they all gave me full backings it was even my late mum that got me my first laptop computer for that purpose. They only kept reminding me that I shouldn't crumble my education because of entertainment. .

Do you have a role model in the industry? 

I respect and appreciate all good djs that started before me but I can't really say it's just one person I look up to so many of them .

Are you currently signed to any specific entertainment label? 

No

Can you give us a brief list of the Artists you have worked with in the industry? 

As an artiste and a dj av. Been privileged to work with the likes of Iceprice, Terry, Oritsefemi, Dannyyoung, Lord of Ajasa, klever J, Falz, AY dot com , MayD ,Orezi to mention just few

Are you solely into Music or are you a into other aspect of entertainment? 

Aside dj am also an hip hop artiste and a radio presenter I curently work with Raypower Fm ilorin

What project are you currently working on? 

Am working on my studio album which will feature some notable Nigerian artiste and some upcoming artiste I don't want to let d cat out of the bag yet

Like the saying Goes All Work and No Play Makes Jack a Dull Boy, how do you like to chill? 

I love hanging out withe my friends when am less busy

Your memorable day, like the day you can never forget? 

My first day on radio as dj

If you are given the opportunity to go back to your past, what will you correct about yourself or in your past?

Laugh, Nothing....Because I have nothing to regret about in my past

What is your advise to the upcoming Dj's out there? 

Being focused is the main thing  some ar doing it for money many are doing it to impress ladies but to be fulfilled  in life should be our main focus. So work very hard to be the best and make sure u create and follow ur own style cus there ias something in you that makes different from anyone els
